Drinking Water Subject Matter Expert Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the design and support of new and existing Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) systems
• Providing user support and training
• Understanding of SDWA and associated reporting requirements
• Experience in Safe Drinking Water Information System Suite of Applications (SDWIS)
• Understanding of relational databases
• Understanding of Federal Reporting Requirements
• Prefer experience in using Compliance Monitoring Data Portal (CMDP)
• Experience in pilot testing EPA drinking water applications (CMDP, BRE, SDWIS State, SDWIS Prime, etc.)
• Experience providing SDWA or SDWIS support to users (staff, regional office staff, customers)

Experience:

• Four-year college degree
• Applicants selected will be subject to a government background check (Public Trust Level) and must meet eligibility requirements
• Clearance process must begin before the new employee begins work to fully access EPA systems
